Fancy Nancy was the only daughter borned to Peaches. She was the brightest , and most playful and had a huge curiosity about life. She stood out. The three brothers grew to double her size. They began to tease her by chasing her and pinning her down until she cried. I must say all cats are neutered. She did not grow the rate of weight as her brothers. She became a loner. When I let her out to play in the backyard she would head for the front yard and hide in the sewer pipe. I eventually became aware of her isolation from the male cats causing this negative behavior. I began to respond by bonding with her by letting her into the main part of house. At first she would not come to me when I called her. I began to rebuild our relationship by petting her and praising her and she began to respond. She would purr and give cat kisses. She began to gain weight and became more emotionally balanced. A real change from the angry, lonely cat that she was becoming. Now she is my little girl who loves to play and give cat kisses. I am happy she has returned to her mother receiving all the love she needs. She will truly grow into a mature and well balance cat that she was meant to be.
The lesson: Beware of negative peers' influence. They could have a negative affect on your self-esteem. Always stay close to the only person who first and truly loves you, mother. It is my gift to love Fancy Nancy.
