A Brave Hearted Bird Tapped On My Window

This morning I was listening to my spiritual program with 3 cats sleeping on my bed mildly snoring. I heard a tapping sound on my window. I was curious so I went to the window and on the ledge corner was a small black, grey and white bird looking at me eye ball to eye ball. It was such joy to see this little creature again.

The much needed rain in TN has poured consistently for over a week. I was waiting for a break in this determined rain pattern to mow my lawn. My grass was growing wildly to knee height. The break finally came and I cut the field of long green grass known as my front and back yard. I rested by sipping water while sitting at my patio table wearing my bright red garden shoes and my newly colored white to green socks thanks to the freshly cut grass stains. A little bird flew very close over my head and landed on the bird feeder that was empty. I love God's creatures so I fetched the seed and breadcrumbs I keep in stock. The little black, grey and white bird was the first to partake of seed and homemade breadcrumbs. Then the Cardinals, Starlings and their mates and children began to appear for a much needed meal. I recall thinking what a brave heart this little bird had to ask for food,

The lesson: No matter your size ask for what you need...you may get a positive response.
