Fancy Nancy Bright Eyed and Well

Posted by Picasa

Fancy is healed from her awful flu and severe red eye. It was a difficult situation for me when the vet suggested they may have to stitch the eye closed to heal. Thank the Lord she was able to heal with the proper medications.

She is now running around the house happy to be well and to see again. Glad she is able to see the light.

All cats are well through this horrible storm of the cat flu. The vet bill was expensive for this old retiree. Yet what could I do? What I have learned from my feral cat Jazz who refused to take the meds but was able to take a shot that worked better than all those meds being spit back into my face by unhappy sick cats. The lesson is to ask for a shot for you cat if it gets the cat flu. This worked very well with Jazz.

The flu storm did introduce me to a very spiritual person who lives her life for God and this means personally and professionally. Thank you Jesus!

WE NEED A CAT FARM IN TN!

Two kittens and their mother have chosen to move in with me Shelba +Eight. All are feral cats. The mother will not let me touch her yet she will enter the house to eat. My other cats are totally taken by these black beauties. The mother cat being very protected has attacked Jack( the brave one) for getting too close.
Now I am on hold knowing what to do with these kittens. I truly do not want to be the little old lady found dead in her home with 8o cats. The Human Society in Clarksville, Tn was very helpful in getting the other cats neutered and spade. They do not have a building for their animals so one keeps them until they are adopted. The problem with weak cat lovers like myself will most assurdly fall in love and keep the babies.
I do not want these kittens life shorten due to an over supply of kittens. You know we need a Cat Farm in Tn that will take all cats and allow them to live their lives. Why can't society do this? Wouldn't that make a nice reality show starting such a place? Think about it!!!!
Meanwhile, I'll be thinking of possible solutions for these sweet kittens. You have any suggestions?

Elephant Ears In Bloom

The elephant ears wave at me each day since arriving in my garden. They are magnificent to look at.
